Finca La Falamosa

Located in Seville, very close to the Guadalquivir River and the Doñana National Park, this estate has an incomparably beautiful setting. The soil texture is sandy loam with variable structure. This, along with its climatic idiosyncrasy, makes it ideal for the cultivation of early fruit.

The climate is Mediterranean with continental influence, with variable rainfall, very hot dry summers and mild winters without snowfall. The average annual temperature is 18.6 °C, one of the highest in Europe. Temperatures exceed 40 °C on several occasions each year. Rainfall ranges from 500 to 600 mm per year, concentrated from October to April. There is an average of 52 days of rain per year, 2,898 hours of sunshine and several days of frost – which hardly last more than 3 or 4 days in a row – with minimum temperatures below 0 °C and maximum temperatures of no more than 8 to 10 °C.
