We have two main warehouses, strategically located to optimise the management and distribution of our products. They are each equipped with advanced technology that guarantees storage in optimal conditions, preserving the quality of our fruit and vegetables from the field to the customer.
These warehouses allow us to maintain an efficient supply chain, ensuring that our products arrive to their destination fresh and in perfect condition.

Berja
Our Almeria centre is located in Berja, a town at the foot of the Sierra de Gádor mountains at an altitude of 335 m above sea level. Set within spectacular scenery, between the highest peaks of the Iberian Peninsula and the warm Mediterranean Sea, this municipality boasts a fertile plain surrounded by mountains and enjoys an enviable climate. Due to its geographical position, it is considered a natural gateway to the Alpujarra region and is easily accessible from the coast of the Poniente Almeriense region.
The plant is located on a plot of 18,000 m2 with 5,500 m2 of constructed area, of which 5,000 m2 are dedicated to handling and storage.
Currently, all the fruits and vegetables produced on the Almeria farms are handled in this warehouse:
- Peppers: California, Italian, hot and sweet bite peppers
- Cucumber
- Courgette
- Aubergine
- Green bean
- Fig
Of the 5 farms that HaciendasBio has in production in the province of Almeria, 3 of them (70% of the production area) are located in Berja. This proximity to the central handling plant, within a radius of just 8-10 km, helps us to significantly reduce our carbon footprint.

La Albuera
The HaciendasBio Ecological Park, where our packaging plant in Extremadura, La Albuera, is located, is set in a unique environment of 400 hectares, at the confluence of the Aljucén and Guadiana rivers in Mérida (Badajoz); an area rich in protected resources cared for by HaciendasBio. This location allows the facilities to make full use of all the renewable energies from the surrounding area.
The packaging plant covers an area of 7,500 m2 and employs 180 staff. In these facilities, we work with twelve of our references, combining them in full production, reaching 120 tons of packaged product per day.
We combine the most advanced technology with our origin, the field, ensuring safety with a traceability system implemented in every box harvested from our farms.
The annual fruit production is around 20,000 tons.
